Kassia was raised in the wilds of outer Ratsylvania where the general carousing lasts into the wee hours. She is part Iranian, part Jewish, part Yooper and a founding member of central Virginia's hardest working, hardest playing klezmer band: The Vulgar Bulgars (www.thevulgarbulgars.com). Currently, she is working on her life-goal of conspiring with the universe to have as much fun as possible.
